Welcome to the Dix Hills Garden ClubThe Dix Hills Garden Club was founded and federated in 1974 to encourage an interest in gardening, and to educate members on the many facets of gardening, horticulture, ecology and the environment
We began with 19 dedicated gardeners who met in one member's home, and have grown to a membership of 60 people who enjoy sharing our knowledge and love of gardening. |
Our MissionOur Mission is to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening among amateurs, to aid in the protection of native plants and birds, to create floral designs and to encourage civic beautification and community service/garden therapy programs.

Art in Bloom 2023 | The Heckscher Museum of Art
For the fourth annual Art in Bloom, 12 floral arrangements were on display that drew inspiration from artworks on view in Viewfinders: Photographers Frame Nature and Raise the Roof: The Home in Art. These exciting exhibitions, which feature diverse artistic mediums including sculpture and photography, provided a wide array of artworks to inspire designers from the Museum’s four garden club partners: Asharoken Garden Club, Dix Hills Garden Club, North Suffolk Garden Club (Stony Brook), and South Side Garden Club (Bay Shore).
